Horizon Capital is delighted to announce the successful sale of one of its 15 portfolio companies, Style Analytics. The SaaS-enabled portfolio analytics business serving the global investment community has been sold to US-based Investment Metrics, a portfolio company of Resurgens Technology Partners, a software-focused private equity firm located in Atlanta, Georgia.
Since Horizon Capital’s investment in September 2015, Style Analytics has successfully expanded its presence in North America and Europe through a strengthened sales and marketing function, re-branded and accelerated product innovation with enhanced ESG analytics and numerous module launches including Peer Insights and Similyzer. In conjunction with subscription-based recurring revenues, exceptional client retention rates and strong cash flow, Style Analytics has seen double-digit growth over recent years, accelerating its expansion with investment support from Horizon Capital. This has transformed Style Analytics into the leading independent cloud-based SaaS platform providing factor-based analysis, supporting over 280 investment institutions across 30 countries.
The combined organisation will create the new industry standard for performance and attribution analysis, peer benchmarking, and straight-through reporting across all institutional asset pools. Together, Investment Metrics and Style Analytics will deliver enhanced analytics and greater workflow efficiency, empowering the global institutional investment community to make insightful and impactful investment decisions.
