Background
Ridge is a multi-disciplinary built environment consultancy, serving public and private sector clients across a broad range of industries from 13 offices across the UK. Ridge’s broad offering to clients, which includes depth in architecture, building services, engineering, planning, surveying, sustainability and transport, will be expanded by investing in talent across its core disciplines as well as through new acquisitions.
The addressable market in the UK for Ridge’s offering is substantial and sized at £13bn, and the market benefits from strategic opportunities including the digital revolution, net zero carbon and social impact agendas and changing ways of living, working and learning.
Horizon Capital have worked closely with the team to build upon a strategy of both organic and inorganic growth, supporting the identification and origination of M&A opportunities, execution support and capital for consolidation.
Buy and Build
Horizon Capital had been mapping the Built Environment Services market for a number of years and therefore have been able to leverage this sector knowledge to benefit Ridge, building a strong pipeline of accretive acquisition targets.
