Strategic combination expands international footprint, offering clients a comprehensive suite of sales and leadership development solutions.

RAIN Group has been acquired by Alchemist backed by Horizon Capital, the private equity investor specialising in technology and business services. Alchemist, a UK headquartered learning and development company which specialises in leadership and management development and sales training has acquired RAIN Group, a US headquartered sales training business established in 2002 by Mike Schultz.

Alchemist secured investment from Horizon Capital in June 2024 to support on an accelerated organic and inorganic growth strategy. The acquisition of RAIN Group is its first follow on transaction with Horizon and represents a step change in scale, customer offering and geographic reach. The acquisition will enable significant revenue synergy opportunities between the two brands as they leverage highly complementary offerings underpinned by proprietary technology.

Alchemist was supported in the transaction by Alvarez & Marsal, Plural Strategy, Deloitte, RSM, CMS, and ArentFox Schiff. Navagant served as the financial advisor for RAIN Group.
